‘Together with my Dutch boyfriend, our two kids and cat Popi, we’re based between Milan and Amsterdam. I was raised in The Netherlands by parents who were both in the design field, but it was my studies at Istituto Marangoni (in fashion styling, graduating cum laude) that brought me to Italy. In my work I instinctively pair the clean, graphic lines from Northern Europe with the warmth and a certain dramatic flair found in the South. I find the precious in the details with interesting, nature-inspired textures. As a stylist and art director, I’d say I’m more of a storyteller; really getting into the mind of a client to translate their vision and vivid imagination that might be slumbering underneath the surface. I enjoy clothes, the beauty of it, but I also believe in wearing your values. Investing in forever pieces and a strong uniform look. What I love about the fashion industry's current route is that there’s more room for true vulnerability.’
